Home Health Care

Home care is supportive care provided in the home. Care may be provided by licensed healthcare professionals (Certified Home Health Aides) who provide medical treatment needs or by professional caregivers who provide daily assistance to ensure the activities of daily living (ADLs) are met. The scope of services will include: bathing, toiling, dressing, grooming and companionship care.

With so many home care options in your community, how do you know which is the right one for you? Next Stage will help you find your fit.

Hospice Care

Hospice care is a type of care and philosophy of care that focuses on the palliation of a chronically ill, terminally ill or seriously ill patient's pain and symptoms, and attending to their emotional and spiritual needs.

When this stage arrives, so many other details need attention other than choosing which agency to use to keep your loved one comfortable. Next Stage will place you in the most caring hands you would desire.

Medicaid Applications

All our certified senior advisors (CSAs) have had extensive training on completing Medicaid applications. Considering that this process is time consuming and could be difficult to navigate, we will be happy to complete the application on your behalf. Submitting an inaccurate application to the State of New Jersey can delay your approval. Our CSAs will ensure that will not happen.

Veterans Benefits (Aid and Attendance Program)

Aid and attendance is a benefit paid by Veterans Affairs (VA) to veterans, veterans' spouses, or surviving spouses. It is paid in addition to a veteran's basic pension. The benefit may not be paid without eligibility to a VA basic pension. Aid and attendance can help pay for care in the home, nursing home, or assisted-living facility. Our CSAs will help you complete the application and enable you to receive the most of your benefit. Similar to the Medicaid application, this is also time consuming and difficult to navigate.

Long Term Care Insurance

Long-term care insurance (LTC or LTCI) is an insurance product that helps pay for the cost of long-term care. Long-term care insurance covers care generally not covered by health insurance, Medicare, or Medicaid. Long-term care insurance generally covers home care, assisted living, adult day care, respite care, hospice care, nursing home, and Alzheimer's facilities. Next Stage Senior Guidance will review your LTC insurance and assist you with the process to determine eligibility.
